Founded in 1942 as a producer of pig iron, in the 60’s the company turns to ferroalloys, becoming in the 90’s a leading player in the production of HC ferromanganese and silicomanganese. Through the years, Italghisa keeps a leadership position in the market thanks to a distinctive production know how focused on material and energy efficiency and a solid expertise in procurement and logistics. In 2016 the company, leveraging its solid experience in production and logistics, launches the ferroalloys trading business.
From more than 70 years we supply leading European and Italian steel companies. We are a reference player in the ferroalloys business, in particular for the supply of ferromanganese and silicomanganese, including low carbon and low phosphorus products.
We have a solid expertise in logistics, which allow us to directly manage the transportation of products from the country of origin. We are well positioned to quickly answer to client’s needs from our warehouses in the main European maritime logistics hubs and from our storage facility at our premises in Bagnolo Mella.
We are certified UNI EN ISO 9001:2015 and we have REACH registrations for iron, silicon and manganese
